North Texas Higher Education Authority, Inc. (NTHEA) is a private, non-profit organization chartered in 1978 by the municipalities of Arlington and Denton, Texas. NTHEA serves as a secondary market for Texas lending institutions and contracts the administration of its program to its own in-house servicer, Higher Education Servicing Corporation (HESC). The mission of NTHEA is to ensure student access to low-cost financing for higher education and is committed to providing superior service to its borrowers through the efforts of HESC.
